For 11 years I have been devoted to the study of my instrument and I am fortunate enough to share this passion and knowledge with my students looking to progress in their musical journey.
Over the course of 3 years studying Jazz at Leeds Conservatoire I have been mentored by some of the best musicians and tutors based in both the North of England and in London. I have not only learnt how to be proficient at my instrument but have learnt many teaching skills and methods from the tutors who mentored me. During my education I received a First Class Honours in BA (Hons) Jazz at Leeds Conservatoire and a Distinction* for my Extended Diploma at Access Creative College.

As a working musician I have played at a variety of venues, festivals and functions across the country and in 2025 I won the ‘Best Soloist Award’ at Durham’s Great North Big Band Jazz competition. Some recent festival appearances include: Leeds Jazz Festival, Rock n Ribs Festival, In It Together Festival, Humber Street Sesh and the Rock n Roll Circus Festival.

My lessons are completely tailored to each student which means that no matter your age, ability or goals, you will have lessons that are well suited to you. Whether you’re wanting to ace your Rockschool Grades, start your career in music or are just looking to play for fun, my teaching materials and methodology will be completely in line with your goal.
